We were training in the Middle East / North Africa (MENA) region last year and working with first-generation pastors and leaders. They were so encouraged by our faculty and mentors saying they had never experienced such rich, deep communal experiences like these.
Heading into 2024 I’m more optimistic than I’ve been in years. We are post-pandemic, coming out of a remarkable year of progress for A3 (see Memorable Year and Family update). We thank God for his faithfulness in sustaining us.
Now, we are looking toward what God has in store for us in the coming year.

Dear Friends of A3,
As we look forward to a meaningful Christmas season this year, I find myself reflecting on memorable Christmases of the past. Two stand out for me: December 1996 and December 2004.
“For twenty years, the Church in our country labored under significant persecution. The benefit of this persecution, though, was that it brought us together in unity.”

Periodically we try to assess whether we are meeting the mark and being fruitful in our overall ministry thus we try various ways to discern how effective we are. Evaluation is crucial to see if we are on target.
One of our core values is so crucial to life and ministry… We call it “All in with God” As I’ve been reflecting on this meaning, it struck me how often scripture references this preposition in relation to our walk with Christ… Take a look:
