A3 has moved to a new donor platform called Virtuous! Our existing donor platform was shut down for a week to prepare for the new platform launching the week of March 27-31, 2023. We are sorry for the inconvenience this may have caused you.
Existing donor information will be transferred. However, for security reasons, banking and credit card data will not be brought over. Therefore, if you have a recurring donation to A3 (via direct debit or credit card), you will need to re-establish your recurring donation on the Virtuous platform starting in April 2023.
Certain donors will be impacted immediately. If you are in the impacted group that is migrating in April, you should have received an email on March 21, 2023 and a hard copy letter a few days later with additional action steps. If you did get this communication, . . .
Please accept our sincere apologies for the inconvenience. We value your data and have determined it was more secure not to transfer your credit card information during the migration.
Furthermore, we are confident that the new online donation platform will provide a better donor/partner experience compared to our old online platform. In addition, we will save quite a bit by making this switch. Thank you for your understanding. We appreciate your partnership!
Prayer requests for Asia, organized by country...
Pray for Japan following the Tropical Storm Etau which pounded Japan's eastern coastline this past weekend. These are things to remember in prayer: 1.) Pray for our partner local churches in all the places Etau has hit. They are consistently serving the disaster area. A3's role is to help empower these local churches to minister effectively. 2.) Pray for people in Fukushima. Etau hit Fukushima, site of the nuclear reactor damaged in 2011 by the tsunami. Decontamination efforts are continuing and water has been put into sealed containers, so that no more radiation leakage would occur. In spite of the effort, there are about 70,000 people still not been able to go back home. There is still a strong focus on ministering to those people still living in temporary housing. A3 is coming along side churches...
Pray that the government would allow outside responders to stay and help and that they will allow funding to keep flowing in; that people would have access to food, water, medical care and other needs. Pray for local churches: Nepal is 81% Hindu, and only 3% Christian. The earthquake struck precisely during weekly worship services... Nepali churches are trying to be at the center of bringing hope and practical help, emotional and spiritual care. With the Japanese expatriate population in the U.S. the highest number of any country in the world, this is an important group for us to be praying for. By 1924 so many Japanese had immigrated to this nation that Japanese were the largest Asian ethnic group. Here in Pasadena, Japanese began arriving as early as 1891. In the Los Angeles area, 164,000...
