A few weeks ago, A2/Japan held an encouraging retreat in Okutama. It was the first time in three years that our entire missionary team met together and Silk and I were barely able to squeeze in with the covid restrictions.

We are reminded that God initiates first and then invites us to respond to his love. And the incarnation of Immanuel—God with us—is the best and most perfect gift from above.
As our world becomes increasingly complex, I’m thrilled to announce that James Choung has joined our Council of Reference. James leads strategy and innovation for InterVarsity USA and these are days where these two attributes are essential for ministry. He’s also a student of Dr. Bobby Clinton in leader formation which has been so vital to A3. He’s adapted the ideas and framework Bobby developed for the next generation, a generation that is pivotal for the future of the Church.
