Thailand (MNN) — More than 3.5 million people have been affected by above-average seasonal flooding in Thailand. Authorities warn of more rain in the days to come as communities scramble to prepare for the next deluge.
Thailand (MNN) — Thailand’s government has approved the equivalent of $122 million in emergency funds to help flood victims nationwide. More than 2.6 million of its people have been affected by recent heavy rains, and at least 23 have died.

Nepal (MNN) — Shoes scattered everywhere. Cooking utensils stuck in the mud. The human toll of last week’s catastrophic flooding in Nepal continues to climb. Now, over 950 people are confirmed dead and more than 4,400 are still missing.
Thailand (MNN) — Floodwaters are beginning to recede in parts of Bangkok as officials intensify drainage operations. Weekend rains inundated the city, forcing thousands into evacuation centers and leaving travelers stranded for hours.
