This weekend, seven CEOs gathered together outside of Seoul, Korea for the first ever A3 session for marketplace leaders. The energy and enthusiasm was magnetic. As these leaders shared their lives and their vision in a dynamic collaborative learning community, the atmosphere was electric.

David Kim, A3 board member and founder of Telos Ventures, co-taught the session with me focusing on our "Love Relationship with God" and being a "Christ-like Leader as a CEO". The weekend went very well as we adapted the pastor-focused integrated curriculum for the CEOs. We also learned and adapted on the fly since this was our first cohort of this nature.
The CEOs responded positively signing their own covenant of commitment for the two-year process. They'll go through six weekend sessions like this over the next two years. They were so thrilled that they even came up with their own name: "The Barnabas 12"!

What a thrill this has been for the entire A3 community. All weekend long we were receiving WhatsApp messages from A3 national directors across ten countries sharing that they were praying for us. Leaders from India were very curious as they would like to see the same process beginning there. There is also keen interest from the Chinese world:
Dr. Peter Zhao, renown Chinese economist, shared with me last summer:
Joe, this is exactly what [Asia] needs today: an A3 for marketplace leaders!

How can you help?
Please pray for these leaders over the next two years. They have a vision to grow in Christ, to become better disciples and disciple-makers, and to make a difference in Korea and beyond. This is more than just another Christian businessmen's leadership program: it's intended to be missionally focused. These leaders want to make a difference so keep them in your prayers.
- Pray for us too as we learn from this cohort and begin to see it expand into other countries.
- If you're a seasoned Christ-centered business leader, let us know if you'd like to participate. As these modules grow over time, we are going to need more faculty to participate.
- And, finally, we're looking for seed capital to build on and expand this weekend experience. If you are interested in helping make a venture philanthropy investment, drop me a note at
