A Brief Report from the Fall Conference for A3 Church Planters
Silk and I just returned from the Fall Conference and thoroughly enjoyed our time with our church multiplication teams! What a creative group we have who are sold out to the cause of Christ across Japan! We had so much fun together – it was amazing!!!
We're thrilled with the quality of people God has assembled for our 2020 Vision to see church multiplication networks mushroom across the country to facilitate thousands of churches planted, a million new followers of Christ, and one hundred cross-cultural missionaries sent out from Japan. What an exciting vision to be a part of!
In addition to this great vision... Our team had a lot of fun together. A few memorable events:
- Stan De La Cour's rendition of "Charlie Spud" a potato as he gets ingested and digested.
- The Okinawa Team's version of a Michael Jackson Song (especially Mike Wilson – what talent!)
- Jeffery Sonnenberg's ukelele presentation
- Playing Games... (kissing up to the New Prez and letting him win in the Apples Game – YES!!!)
- The kids doing "Run, Run, Run" to highlight our theme of running the race
- And, of course, Tim Clark's new name for the President and wife: "Jovial Joe and Servant Silk"
What a great group of Christ Follower's we have who are fixing their eyes on Jesus to run the race and see churches planted across Japan. May God bring the increase as we simply "be still," " follow him," "be faithful," and see Him do incredible things.
