This past October I had the privilege of meeting several alumni from A3 in Seattle. It was a spectacular evening as we gathered together and heard stories of God’s work in our lives and through the ministry.
What struck me most was how much the fruit of what we are doing today in seeing “a vibrant community of servant leaders leading the Church across Asia” stems from the foundations laid by those who went before us. They tilled the earth in hard soil for many years, laying the cornerstones upon which we are gathering the harvest from today.
It reminded me of Paul’s words to the Corinthians (1 Cor 3:6):
"I planted the seed, Apollos watered it, but God has been making it grow."
How grateful I am to follow in the footsteps of giants like these women and men of faith. They set the example for me and now I have the privilege of seeing the fruit from their labor.
