Several months ago, one of our staff kids went on a school outing. On this outing, the class visited a neighborhood temple near the school to learn more about the culture and religion.
As you would expect, her parents wanted to know how the day went and as good parents followed up with her that evening. “How did your day go today?” they asked.
She said, "We went to the temple on an outing today." And, upon further prompting, “What was that like?” she proceeded to say:
“No more FAKE Jesus!”

She has already discerned between what is true and what is false. And, she could tell that the gods being worshiped at this temple were indeed “fake”
How refreshing is child-like faith? Check out what Jesus himself had to say about this:
“Let the children come to me; do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of God. Truly, I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God like a child shall not enter it.” – Mark 10:14-15
This is why we emphasize Living in a Love Relationship with God at A3. It’s crucial that we put first things first and our relationship with Jesus must be real, authentic and ‘child-like’.
May we see a movement of child-like faith emerge in the countries of Asia. Please join us that we can move beyond the “FAKE Jesus’s” of our day and have a true faith in him.
