Who Helped You?

Silk and I were recently in the middle of Nepal, where many of you have helped out. We are deeply grateful for your prayers and your support. Your financial giving has really helped out, especially providing these tin shelters, as a part of the Family Rebuilding Packages including some food supplies that will last. Families who have lost everything will be helped by these packages now and over the next few years as they get their lives back together.

We had the privilege of walking with a Nepali friend who showed us the area where these Family Rebuilding Packages were distributed. There was this one lady we saw who received a tin roof, and my friend asked her, “Who helped you? Who provided this tin roof?

And here's what she said:

“The people who don't worship idols, they're the ones who helped us.”

At that moment my friend leaned over to me and said:

"That's a signal that these are Christians who reached out, because everyone else in our country worships idols."

It is the believers of the world that have reached out to families like this in need. So thank you for being part of that team... and for being people who don't worship idols. We are deeply grateful for your support your prayers and your ongoing partnership with us at A3.
