Here in Jakarta, Indonesia, we've just finished up a session with the A3 cohort. It's our second session, and I just wanted to share about how wonderful it was to just be with all these pastors—men and women of different ages, different levels of experience, but what a great community they're building.
I think what impresses me the most is how safe they feel here to share—their very precious stories and their concerns and challenges. It's just been a wonderful place for them to share and get support and encouragement, as well as experience from others who might have had more experience.
So I think A3 (Asian Access) really provides that space for them. All across the world, we see that pastors are lonely. They don't have safe, trusted places or relationships. And I just know this is going to change their church and community.
Janice Munemitsu
A3 board member and faculty
Ms. Janice Munemitsu is an A3 board member and faculty member. She has been involved with the generosity movement since 2003 with a heart for truly transformational and spiritual stewardship and generosity. She is on the California advisory board of the National Christian Foundation California and participates in encouraging generosity to the Kingdom.
Janice's passion is helping others find spiritual freedom in Christ (2 Corinthians 3:17) through soul care and spiritual direction. She serves as a spiritual director for graduate students and staff at Biola University’s Center for Spiritual Renewal (CSR). Janice holds both Bachelor of Science and Master of Business Administration degrees from the University of Southern California, Los Angeles, CA, and M.A., Spiritual Formation and Soul Care from the Institute for Spiritual Formation (ISF), Talbot Seminary/Biola University. With a heart for travel, and light suitcase to match, Janice is a native Southern Californian living in Corona del Mar.
