Women in Ministry (WIM), A3

Across South Asia, women are rising with renewed courage, deeper intimacy with Christ, and fresh vision to serve. Through A3’s Women in Ministry (WIM) cohorts, women leaders in East and Southeast Asia are being formed in six vital areas: Spiritual Formation, Intimacy with Christ, Inner Healing, Life Journey with Spiritual Gifts, Leadership, and Missions.

These gatherings create safe, Spirit-filled spaces where women grow as both disciples and leaders who transform their families, churches, and communities. Here is a sampling of some of our gatherings over the past several months...

India WIM – Leadership Renewal and Spiritual Breakthrough

WIM Class 3 leaders gathered in North India for a deeply transformative weekend of spiritual renewal and sisterhood. Under the guidance of Jackie and Rajni, participants explored the heart, direction, posture, and power of a Christ-centered leader.

Through teachings on leadership styles; Designer, Motivator, Team Leader, Implementer; each woman discovered her unique God-given design. The retreat culminated in a moving foot-washing ceremony, reminding everyone of Jesus’ model of servant leadership. Many testified to experiencing a renewed sense of calling and courage to lead with authenticity and grace.

Nepal WIM – Inner Healing and Restoration

The Nepal WIM community gathered for a powerful Inner Healing Session—a first-time experience for many. Led by Lori, Moon, Jackie, Donna, and Deidra, the women journeyed through reflections on truth vs. lies, generational patterns, and emotional awareness.

Real-life testimonies brought God’s healing presence to life, and teachings on healthy boundaries opened eyes to the importance of self-care in ministry. The session concluded with a blessing prayer spoken on behalf of both mother and father, bringing deep emotional and spiritual restoration. Many left lighter, freer, and ready to serve again with renewed passion.

Bangladesh WIM – A Time of Healing and Hope

Twenty-nine women from the Bangladesh WIM cohorts gathered in Dhaka for an Inner Healing Training, facilitated by Lori and Michelle, with prayer support from Donna and Deidra.

The sessions covered The Father’s Heart of Love, Healing as a Process, Open and Closed Doors, and Overcoming Obstacles to Healing. The Holy Spirit moved powerfully through prayer, forgiveness, and freedom from past wounds. Testimonies overflowed: some spoke of emotional release, others of spiritual renewal, and even spontaneous joy and dancing in celebration of God’s goodness.

One highlight came when A3 alumni women organized a follow-up leadership gathering, uniting 25 women leaders from 17 churches across seven districts. Rooted in Isaiah 40:31, this time became a sacred space for healing and empowerment.

Those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint. — Isaiah 40:31

In a nation where Christians make up only 0.3% of the population, these women embodied the faith of Deborah, Esther, Lydia, Miriam, and Hannah—boldly stepping forward to shape the future of the Church in Bangladesh.

A3.WIM Participant Testimonials

I wish and pray that every single woman who knows Lord Jesus should go through this program to become a richer person in the spiritual area of her life, to be a blessing to the community.

— Carol Christopher, A3.WIM Participant in India

To see my life so beautifully bud and blossom within just the last three modules is so amazing.

— Selvi Rajiv, A3.WIM Participant in India

I'd been wanting to have and be a part of something like this for a long time—mainly because as a pastor's wife I couldn't find a friend who was in the 'same boat'. This meeting was a blessing, Thank you for being sensitive to the Holy Spirit and organizing this for us.

Prayers and Praises

As these movements unfold, we give thanks for all God has done, and continues to do, through His daughters across Asia. Let’s join together in prayer:

  • Praise God for the powerful transformation seen during retreats in India, Nepal, and Bangladesh.
  • Pray for lasting inner healing and freedom from generational wounds.
  • Pray for servant-hearted leadership as women model the humility of Christ.
  • Intercede for multiplication—that many more women will rise to lead and disciple others.
  • Pray for unity and strength among A3 alumni and the Church across South Asia.
  • Pray for peace and justice in the region, that the Church will stand as a prophetic voice for reconciliation.

Women In Ministry (WIM) is a leader development initiative within the A3 movement that equips Christian women leaders across Asia with transformational training in spiritual formation, leadership, and mission through small, cohort-based learning communities. The program helps participants grow as disciples of Christ and as influential ministry leaders by fostering strong relational support, addressing challenges like isolation and burnout, and encouraging Spirit-led change in their lives, families, churches, communities, and nations. Ultimately, WIM focuses on raising up “Esthers”—women who are empowered to contribute meaningfully to the building of God’s Kingdom and to lead with increased vision, character, and competence.
