A3 WIM raising up esthers

Bangladesh, India, & Cambodia each hold A3.Women in Ministry sessions

I recently came back from a 3-week trip for WIM—Women in Ministry. What a privilege to be part of the expanding work God is doing among these beautiful women in Bangladesh, India, and Cambodia! The Lord is definitely raising up the Esthers in these nations who will help to bring Spirit-led change in their churches and communities for the sake of His Kingdom!

BANGLADESH

A3/Bangladesh WIM started 2nd cohort of 18 women led by 4 alumni from the first cohort

What a vibrant, fun group of women—all in, learning and growing together! Plus, a very strong leadership team walks alongside the new cohort.

During the session, I had the honor of teaching on the topics of Spiritual Formation and discipleship. Lots of interactions with each other, times of prayer and seeking the Lord, and even worship dancing during the weekend. We could feel the joy and excitement of being together as sisters in Christ. The ladies had a chance to express their identity in Christ by using clay to mold images!

On the last day of the session, the alumni from the 1st cohort were invited to share how WIM had impacted their lives and to begin to build prayer partner relationships with the 2nd cohort. There was such a strong bond of sisterhood established that weekend. I am so grateful for what God is building there in this nation.

INDIA

During my second week, I attended India's 3rd session on Life Journey and spiritual gifts taught by Holly Hair one of A3's faculty. The women really received and especially loved the prophetic art prayer time that Holly set up. I was honored to be able to interact and hear some of these women’s stories of coming from a Hindu family background and by God’s love and grace being saved for His purposes. Lots of tears shed and prayers for God’s healing work in their lives! So beautiful to see!

And we were starkly reminded that international missions can come with challenges. One leader from the U.S. ended up with a medical emergency while we were in India. She was able to go to a local hospital and get some tests done for her situation. The Lord answered our prayers, and she ended up in good health and was able to teach!

CAMBODIA

Finally, Cambodia was the final stop for this whirlwind trip. The 2nd cohort held the 3rd session (of 5 total) with Holly again teaching life journey and spiritual gifts, just as in India. The women received insight into their own spiritual gifts and how God has been and is continuing to use them in these areas. Again the prophetic art prayer time was so meaningful for these ladies! Many tears and encouraging words were shared!

They enjoyed Friday night together having dinner on a boat on the river that runs through Phnom Penh. It was a wonderful highlight for all of us who attended—fun, laughter, joy, singing, and enjoying each other’s company and the goodness of God!

GOD IS RAISING UP MORE ESTHERS

I love seeing what God is building in these women’s lives through these sessions but especially appreciate the love and sisterhood He’s creating among these women.

Our WhyI am so blessed to go and establish relationships with these women who God is calling to be Esthers in these nations. They are making a difference because of the work of WIM in their lives! Two of the ladies even shared that their husbands have seen a difference in them since they have gone through the WIM training!

Thank you, Lord, for the work You’re doing in these nations and the impact it’s having in the lives of these women, their families, their churches, and their communities.

I am deeply thankful for how God is working in the lives of all these women.
